Hi my name is Alex Bonini. I’m new to blogging so this is all a bit foreign to me. I’m from Johnstown, PA. I’ve lived with both of my parents and my brothers all my life. One of my two brothers, Erik, is three years older than me and currently persuing a master’s degree in english. My younger brother, Nick, is now a sophomore at Cal U for criminology. I’m currently a junior here at IUP studying Biology.

The town in which I grew up was small and pretty boring and I was never a big fan of the local school district, Westmont Hilltop, where I attended all of gradeschool. I played football throughout middle school, and then for two years in high school. I was always involved in after school art activities and the occasional painful student councel event. During high school I found I enjoyed math and science courses and the challenges they offer. So after a couple years of pissing off my bio and chem teachers with incessant questioning and disruptions, I decided to persue further education in biological sciences. That pretty much brings us to today and why I’m here in this English class as part of my furthered education through IUP. Honestly I still haven’t decided what I’d like to do with my post-graduate life with a bachelors in biology, but hopefully I’ll figure it out soon enough. That should be enough for now.
